Jukka-Pekka Metsävainio is internationally recognized for his large-scale astronomical mosaics that merge scientific precision with artistic vision. His work reveals the hidden structures, atmospheres and light of the universe, transforming astronomical data into immersive visual experiences.

His images are built over years of patient imaging from his private observatory in Finland. Each work is based entirely on real astronomical phenomena and captured through direct observation, preserving both scientific authenticity and artistic depth.
