A faint and rarely photographed emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus. This is an active star-forming region located at a distance of approximately 3,000 light-years from Earth. The image is presented in visual colors. Ionized hydrogen (H-alpha) emits a deep red light and dominates the composition.
Captured from Oulu in 2015 using a 25 cm reflector telescope, with a total exposure time of approximately 10 hours.
